ICONIC KIT MATCHUPS
Shea sent me the below image, which then fomented the discussion for the day which basically is this: What is the most iconic kit matchup of all time? David argues strongly for the below Lakers vs Celtics one.
There are reasons for it, you'll have to listen to the pod to hear our arguments as to why each one might is iconic above others. Reasons about the level of the rivalry, the history of the rivalry, the reach of the rivalry, as well as the aesthetics of the two kits against each other.

We did bring up a few contenders, David positing that Barcelona vs Real Madrid as one that may most closely contend - history, both social/political as well as on field, high level play etc.
Shea then made a GREAT point and brought in one that David had not considered, but immediately thought it is the one contender for the title: Brazil vs Argentina in international football. There is so much social and political history, as well as teams that both boast claims to the greatest players of all time arguments.

One of the great goals in hockey history, just let the pictures do the talking for you. On pod I mistakenly referred to the scorer Sonny Milano as 'Silano' so I apologise. Zegras' reaction to realising his idea actually came off was amazing as well.

Shea correctly predicted that Steph would break the record at MSG, and so he did - he said whichever jersey he is wearing when he does it is the hot kit of the week, and it is one of our favourites - the Warriors 21/22 classic - that he was rocking as he did it.
- Travis Head, Australian Test Cricket & C-Bomb Aficionado
Australia vs England in Test Cricket is one of the original sports rivalries, and while test whites vs test whites is boring from an objective standpoint, the majesty of Test Cricket and the context of the rivalry makes it wonderful - especially when a South Aussie boy is making 150 runs against the English, and dropping c-bombs (and being fined 15% of his match fee due to it being caught on mic, which kinda sucks for him but we're sure he doesn't care). Travis Head has long been a great in South Australian cricket, and he has taken his chance at national level in the most important rivalry.

At time of recording the MLS Cup had yet to be played, so unfortunately it did not go the Timbers way - but still proud of the efforts and their home kit is a great one, which really ties in to Portland and Oregon in general. We love it. #RCTID
COLD KITS
Just a couple mentions, Miami Hurricanes because fuck you Mario Cristobal. Basically it. Also Shea notes the Oregon Ducks eggshell kit as a cold kit, which while not hating it - David kinda agrees. And LIVE ON POD Watford giving away a penalty gets a nomination as well.
